A couple of weeks ago, I wrote this romantic Love Poem, which is titled “My Sweet.”

I love to write poetry, and I’m especially fond of writing about deep love. My Sweet is a poem that’s full of romantic imagery and is sure to make your heart melt.

And as the night falls becomes easy to see the stars shining bright above. The feeling of love is fresh and new, It’s a warmth that spreads through my body.

I know there will be times in our lives when we’ll have to endure tough days and nights, But if I am his throughout the years will all be worth it when the stars shine bright above us, And the moon filters through my window pane.

My Sweet

HIS WORDS ENVELOPE ME,

AND MAKE ME FEEL SO GOOD.

HE LOVES EMOTION AS I DO,

AND HE UNDERSTANDS MY FEELINGS,

JUST AS I HOPED HE WOULD.

OH, HOW I WISH HE WERE HERE WITH ME,

WHISPERING SOFTLY IN BED,

TELLING ME OF HIS DREAMS,

WHILE I STROKE HIS THINKING HEAD.

I KNOW IF HIS ARMS WERE ‘ROUND ME,

MY MIND WOULD FEEL SO LIGHT,

AND MY HEART WOULD BEAT FASTER,

WHILE WE WATCHED TODAY FALL TONIGHT.

UNDER THE STARS,

IS WHERE WE’D BE FOUND,

SMILING, TALKING, FEELING,

NO ONE ELSE WAS AROUND.

I KNOW HIS KISS WOULD BE LIKE MAGIC,

HIS LIPS WERE SURELY SWEET,

HIS TOUCH IS LIKE THAT OF AN ANGEL…

OH, WHAT A SENSUAL TREAT!
