I Think of You

Spread the love

Love looks like a touch that comforts. Love looks like the tears you shed when you feel safe enough to share your story. Love looks like being at peace with yourself and others.
Love is the feeling of an arm around your shoulder, reminding you that you are not alone. Love is when someone understands that they act from love, not anger or frustration.
Love is not just a feeling or emotion, but it is action. Love is being intentional and thoughtful in the relationships in your life. Love should never be confused with lust and is not based on physical attraction alone.
Love creates a space where people feel heard, understood, and cared for by another person. Love is empowering. Love allows people to take risks and try new things because they know they will be supported by the person they love.
I wrote this Deep Love Poem and it’s titled “I Think of You”.
Every time I close my eyes, I see your face. I see your smile and the way you look at me with love in your eyes.
I think of you in the morning, in the evening, when I’m walking by myself. You’re always on my mind, even if you’re not near. And every night before I sleep.

I Think of You

 Hey, sweetie of mine,

sure glad you were my Valentine.

I knew when I met thee,

To be a couple someday, just you and me.

You sure are that special Sweet Thing.

As I think back on our first date,

I wonder is this destiny, or is it fate?

Your eyes twinkle like the sky,

You sure are that special Sweet Thing.

I will never find another

because you are my first and only lover.

You sure are that special Sweet Thing.

When I sleep, I think of you,

Holding my teddy bear, I call Boo.

Off in my own little land,

Running hand in hand, in the sand.

You sure are that special Sweet Thing.

As I write this poem for my Love,

I thank the good Lord above.

As I and you grow together,

You and me apart??? Never.

You sure are that special Sweet Thing.
