“Unfulfilled love” is a hard thing to endure for any person. But it’s especially difficult when we have been rejected by the one who had once loved us.
This isn’t a time for soul-searching, or for self-pity, but instead a time to reflect on what went wrong in our relationships, and what we can do to fix them.
With the right approach and some willingness from both parties, we can overcome our broken relationships and find happiness.
The most important thing you can do is to listen to what your partner is telling you and try not to take things personally.
Make sure that you’re taking them seriously as they have feelings too, and that they’re not just saying these things because of jealousy or insecurity.
If you feel like something specific needs to be changed, work on it specifically with that person. Focus on your behavior and how you can react in a more positive way.
Love is the most precious thing in the world. It’s what we want to experience and what we want to give. To those who are struggling with love and cannot find it, this poem is a special gift.
Unfulfilled Love
She was the answer to my all prayers.
She brought me joy whenever
I heard the sound of her sweet voice.
With each little word that came from her lips,
my heart skipped a beat.
She was everything I wanted in life,
she was my world.
The day came when I gave her my heart.
With two open hands, I offered it to her.
With two simple words,
she whispered back, “I can’t.”
All time and space stopped.
All were frozen in place.
All except my aching heart.
When it slipped out of my hands
and fell toward the barren ground.
There my heart lay still, broken in two.
